• Discover How I Made $5,030 PROFIT Off “The Product Flip”

    Posted on November 29th, 2008 Jason 34 comments

    It’s been a good couple of days.

    A lot of you know that I make money mainly through website flips, with a few other various things. However, when most of you have asked for examples of websites I’ve sold, I haven’t disclosed them.

    Why? Simply because it’s not good disclosing to 1,000+ people exactly how you make your money. To be honest, for most of my websites I use the same formula… one that’s worked well.

    This time however, I created a website with the sole idea of showing you guys what can be achieved if you’re willing to work for it… and now I disclose EVERYTHING.

    I’m sure you’re tired of paying for products, so in this case it’ll be free.

    Introducing Make Money Dynamo…

    This (TUK) blog isn’t technically a make money online blog, but a lot of the information I’ve covered here, especially in the past couple of months is related to making money online, as that’s what people have wanted.

    To be honest I’m tired of doing that here… I started this as an entrepreneur blog and would prefer to keep it that way. I’ll still share tips and techniques, but will look more broader than the standard “Make Money With X”.

    However, people still need their fix… of FREE information that will help them earn a few dollars online. Which is why I’m JVing on a partner on this project, which will be a blog called Make Money Dynamo

    The cost of this information? Well, it normally retails for about fifteen billion dollars, but ONLY for the next forever we’re releasing the information to you guys free. It’s all I can do to help people that have stuck with me for so long. :razz:

    The posts on the blog will come maybe once a week, maybe a little more or little less than that, but I’m guaranteeing that almost each and every one of them will have something that you can use to increase your income. The blog was created between me and a friend, who contacted me during the JV With Me period… with a slightly different idea.

    Anyways, I like launching in style, and not waiting… so I worked a bit today morning, detailing the exact steps I took in The Product Flip to amass $5,300 in revenue ($5,030 in net profit). And I almost didn’t create the site!

    You’ll get the report immediately after you subscribe and you can sink your teeth into it. It’s a high quality report that could have been sold, and I hope you like it. If you don’t, I’ll refund the $0.00 you paid for it.

    Screenshots of revenue are shown on the page.

    Discover How I Made $5,030 Profit On The Product Flip

    There’s also a post already up on the website talking about the email / zip submit method. It’s solid content.

    Lastly, I want to know what specific ways to make money online you guys want to see detailed, step by step guides written FREE for. So leave me a comment and we’ll look into putting some out. :)

  • Make Money With Email / Zip Submits

    Posted on November 29th, 2008 Casey 25 comments

    This was originally a report created by me for a membership site. The membership site is now defunct, but the information still valid so hopefully some of you will benefit from it.

    The exact method that will be covered today is polls and email / zip submits.

    “That’s old!” I hear you say. It’s old, but it works. You can pull in an easy $50 or more profit per day with this, and you’d be a fool not to try it.

    Driving traffic to a page that will convert is one of THE easiest ways to get started and make money in affiliate marketing. It’s so easy, that you can make enough doing it and nothing else to live pretty comfortably on the web.

    What we will be doing, is setting up polls… polls about various subjects, and then sending targeted traffic to it. What we will focus on is expanding the profitable campaigns, and ditching the unprofitable ones, until eventually you have campaigns that run on clockwork generating you a steady $10/day or more. Once you have such campaigns up, all you do is rinse and repeat whatever you did until you’re satisfied with the amount you’re making.

    Let’s get started on choosing an offer.

    Choosing An Offer

    The offers that do best are uncomplicated, one field email or zip submits. You do not care about what the user does next; all they have to do is input their email and you will get paid.

    Remember that the people you are targeting are not the smartest on the planet (people who think that if they enter their email they will get a free iPod – dumb!) so you don’t want to complicate things. You also DON’T want to give them too many options… the only way they should be able to leave your landing page is through either clicking your affiliate link, or pressing the red X. Most will click your affiliate link.

    The best offers that I’ve used are iPod / iPhone related offers combined with celebrity landing pages. I will explain how to setup a landing page in the next section, but let’s talk about your offers first.

    Of course, you need to be signed up to a good affiliate network to find a good offer. Here’s some of the networks that I recommend:

    Some of the best networks to join for this are:

    http://neverblueads.com

    NeverBlue Ads have over 200 free CPA lead offers at any given time, quite a few of them iPod / iPhone based.

    http://www.advaliant.com/

    Advaliant are another affiliate network which is very easy to get accepted to.

    http://www.marketleverage.com/

    Although their interface can be at times confusing, Market Leverage has very helpful affiliate managers who will guide you through choosing the perfect offer for your campaign.

    The three above are the ones we like best (especially NeverBlue Ads) but you may use any affiliate network you like.

    Make sure the affiliate network you use can be trusted and pays how you like. You can choose Paypal, cheque or sometimes even direct bank transfer.

    What should you look at when selecting offers?

    Good landing page. Graphics always help conversion – if the page looks ugly to you, it’s going to look ugly to the people you’re targeting.

    Optin box above the fold. Looks of the graphic page are one thing, but you want to make it as easy as possible for your target audience to enter their email. Make sure they don’t have to scroll down.

    Terms and conditions below the fold. Terms and Conditions always scare people, so make sure they’re out of sight or out of focus. The prime focus has to be that opt in box.

    Looking at the above three things as well as the commission offer will give you an idea of which offer to best choose.

    Your average email submit offer pays around $1.25; you will find a few higher and lower. Remember, you only want offers that want an email submit, nothing more as the more work your target has to do, the less conversions you will get.

    Setting Up A Landing Page

    You cannot direct link in Adwords; although it is certainly possible, you will make little to no profit if you do this starting out. The best way to go about this is by setting up a landing page. Here is what your average landing page looks like:

    This is just one campaign; you can create as many as you want.

    Whichever option someone chooses, it will take them to a page that looks like the one below.

    This is an example of a great page… although it allows you to choose a colour, this looks more likely that someone could possibly win something.

    Here’s the two types of questions you should ask:

    Question A: Relating to current events. For example, the USA Presidential elections when they were happening. You can check out what current events are happening by reading your daily newspaper or the front page of Yahoo / Google News.

    Question B: A question that anyone can answer. For example, ‘Do You Love Or Hate Google’. These questions are good because even though you’ll have to use mainly the content network, you can get very cheap clicks as few are competing against you

    The best of the two to do is obviously the first method… why? Simply because the first gets more interest, as people are actually searching for such things. Do not choose complicated topics, like nuclear physics; remember, those kind of people will generally not enter their email to win something. Anything related to celebrities, movies, fashion, politics and sport tends to do well.

    You can find a list of what’s hot and what people are searching for by using Google Trends. Select topics that fit into the above categories.

    Your landing page needs to be simple, and have no doubts about exactly what you are offering… use images for the two options and add some text too. The text helps a) increase your quality score (for bidding) and b) gives visitors to the page a further idea of what they need to do. Make sure you emphasize how easy it is to win the offer you are promoting.

    Setting up landing pages takes fifteen minutes or less for me, especially once you have done the first one… all you have to do is change the images and write up a new paragraph of text. If you are too lazy to create your own landing page though, you can buy Poll Factory which I recommend if you want to save time. If costs $100 but is well worth it.

    Poll Factory produces fresh looking landing pages without you having to touch the code at all if you don’t want to. It is a HUGE time saver and essential if you want to limit the amount of work you have to do on each page. Remember that the less work you do, the better off you are.

    Getting Ready With Pay Per Click

    Some people are extremely scared of using pay per click… but why? PPC is one of the easiest ways to test your target market at a low price, and you can make 5x – 10x or more your investment… who wouldn’t take such a return.

    For this method, we will be mainly targeting the content network; you will see a lot of impressions, but a low click through ratio. This is the reason why we have to set up a lot of campaigns for you to reach your required $100/day.

    It is unlikely that you will reach $100/day off one campaign, which is why we need many; although it is possible, it needs a lot of tweaking and remember we are lazy. What you need to do is aim for your campaigns to make just $10/day, then rinse and repeat.

    For me, I setup at least one campaign every day (which takes fifteen minutes) and spend around $10 on it (which gives me 100 clicks or so). If I am NOT making a profit, I ditch the campaign; if I am, I keep running it until profits start to drop. I have been trying to setup at least one new campaign every day for the last two months (give or take a few days, weekends… holidays etc) and now am reaping the rewards – you’ll soon find that one landing page can make you hundreds of dollars on autopilot.

    You should NOT spend anything more than $0.05 – $0.15 per click… remember, we are not targeting expensive keywords.

    In your ad, you MUST mention the subject and the prize. An example ad would be:

    Does Britney Spears Suck?
    Some say yes, some say no
    Vote and win an iPod!

    http://www.yourdomain.com

    What we will be using for the bulk of our campaigns is Google Adwords, however you can try out other networks if you wish. The great thing for us is that Adwords gives you $50.00 free to start out with… at $10 per campaign, that is five spanking campaigns you can test out.

    Not everything you try will turn into gold; some of your campaigns won’t even get off the ground and some will lose money. However, your goal is to find just two $10/day profit campaigns per week – at that rate, by the end of the month you will have eight campaigns producing $10 a day, leaving you with $80 per day. Of course, the more you work, the more you earn – you could setup those campaigns on your first day itself to make you a lot more than $80/day.

  • The Product Flip Part One – Writing Your Product

    Posted on November 28th, 2008 Jason 27 comments

    I promised a few weeks ago that I would walk you guys through ‘the product flip’

    What is the product flip? It’s basically where you create a product, drive traffic and make sales for it, and then flip the product at the end of this. You can make an easy $300+ at the very least for a relatively small amount of work.

    This works awesomely well in the internet marketing niche, as of course things can be promoted a lot quicker in the IM niche than any other, however you can use this for almost any niche you want.

    What should my product be about?

    You want a product that talks about something people are interested in learning more about. In the IM niche, this is anything related to making money… driving traffic… blogging… social marketing – you get the idea. In other niches, this would be hot topics like how to lose weight, how to get your pet to behave, how to quit smoking etc.

    Personally, I know a lot about the IM niche so I write my own products for it (when they’re sold under my name) but in other niches I like to outsource and get someone else to do the research. Although you want to make money, you should make sure your product is of high quality and will help people – this will lead to far more sales in the long run.

    How do I create my product?

    There’s one thing, and one thing only I use for all of my products – Open Office. It’s a free tool, and since I found out about it I stopped using Microsoft Word completely. What Open Office does is it has an option to easily convert your file to PDF, and there are also quite a few decent free templates available if you want to soup things up. EZ eBook Templates is just one site that has around 15~ free, all of which are high quality.

    You want your product (at least your first one) to be short and sweet. A rough number to value a product I use is a dollar a page, so if your product is 10 pages you charge $10 and so on, although you’ll probably want to decrease this at the beginning (like I’ve done for Flip Noobs).An introduction, a step by step break down of whatever you’re talking about and a conclusion. Try to put as little fluff as possible (people hate fluff!) and space it out / use large fonts so that your eBook is easy to read.

    Make sure to use images whenever possible – don’t just put some in for the sake of it but if you’re explaining certain concepts images can make people understand things a lot easier, especially if your product is aimed at newbies.

    I’ve already done the promoting for this specific product (Flip Noobs, which is public) so I will cover this in a few days; however the above is basic information on how to create your product.

    This product will also be listed (full rights) sometime over the next few days. I was planning to hold onto it, but I have exams coming up in a couple weeks and then will be out for most of January… to be honest, two months without working on promoting this and it’s likely it will be worthless. If you’re interested in purchasing full rights contact me; if you want to get in at the discounted price, you can purchase through the sales page.

    There are also a few people in the joint venture project with me that I need to get kick started, so I’m going to clear a few of my other projects and spend more time working with them. I’ll be talking on here about some traffic / value adding strategies that I’m going to teach them to use, as well as hopefully reveal a couple sites from those that have already started seeing some traffic / revenue trickle in. Stay tuned :)

    As I haven’t run a contest of sorts on here for some time, and this thread is about product creation, here’s an offer you can’t miss…

    I’ll give away two FREE custom eCover designs to random commenters on this post. My only requirement is that you be subscribed to this blog.

    Just subscribe, comment using the email you subscribed with and I’ll pick two random people for a custom, high quality eCover design from a top notch designer. This mini-contest will end on the 1st of December. :)

  • Make Yourself Some Holiday Cash By Promoting Flip Noobs

    Posted on November 25th, 2008 Jason 31 comments

    Christmas is coming up, so here’s a way you can make yourself some holiday cash.

    Most of you will know about the website flipping guide that I launched a couple of weeks ago… it’s going strong, and it should surpass the 100 sales mark today or tomorrow. People have been pretty astounded with it as it’s (in my personal, honest opinion of course) crazy value for money and with the bonus is a must buy for anyone that’s getting into site flipping.

    Anyways, I’m not going to sell you on this any more, don’t worry :razz: ; I am however going to help you make money promote it. I have not put up an official affiliates page on the site, so at the moment this is the ONLY place where you can sign up for the affiliate program.

    The report currently sells for around $15, so you will net $7.5 on every sale. Not the biggest amount, but this is one the easiest sells you’ll ever have. Making 5+ sales a day is not difficult, and that’s an extra $1,125 per month if you manage to keep it up. It’s a 40+ page report with a custom bonus that is worth the price alone. :)

    You can sign up for the affiliate program through this link. You’ll need a free account at E-Junkie, but once signed up you’ll be able to see your statistics etc.

    I want this post to be useful for even those that are not interested in promoting this specific product, so you can use the information below for almost any product out there.

    I recommend setting up a cloaked affiliate link to promote this. You can do this through your own website by setting up a php file (for example, flipnoobs.php) and entering the below code into it:

    <html>
    <head>
    <title>Make Money Flipping Websites</title>
    <meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow">
    <script>window.location="http://www.youraffiliatelink.com";</script>
    <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="1; url=http://www.youraffiliatelink.com">
    </head>
    <body>
    <p align="center">You are being taken to the correct page.
    <br>If the page doesn't load after 5 seconds,
    <a href="http://www.youraffiliatelink.com">click here</a>.</p>
    </body>
    </html>

    Once that’s done, you can start promoting. Here’s a few ideas…

    1. Leave blog comments on every single decent traffic blog you visit over the next few days. Use your cloaked affiliate link as your URL, and aim to be the first comment (more eyeballs!) by using a tool like Comment Sniper. If your comments are of high quality (or controversial :razz: ) people will click through. Remember that you can outsource this.

    2. Write a post on your own blog, no matter how big or small it is. Review the product, talk about why people should buy it, the benefits of it et cetera. If you have 200+ subscribers you qualify for a free copy, so send me an email. If you review it on your own blog and write the review well enough, you’ll see sales.

    3. Write articles. At the moment this product isn’t so widely promoted that people are searching for the product name itself (if they were though, you could write articles based on that), however you can target terms like website flipping, make money flipping websites, how to sell websites etc. You could also setup a Squidoo Lens, Hubpages, a Facebook account to promote… entirely up to you.

    4. Put your cloaked affiliate link in your forum signature and post high quality stuff for a couple days. Clicks ==> sales. The sales page is converting pretty well (probably because I didn’t write it :) ).

    5. Create a short, free report to give away… 4-5 pages long, maybe talk about something about website flipping or even presell your report readers (“Why you should start website flipping” etc). At the end, recommend this product through your cloaked affiliate link. You could also use your free report to build a list.

    6. Pay per click. Again, website flipping terms or even make money online terms, although your profit margin would decrease as MMO terms cost a bit. This is not recommended for newbies – only do this if you are experienced.

    7. Advertise in ezines with your cloaked affiliate link. Or buy advertising banners on blogs.

    8. Order a paid blog review but ask the blog writer to use your affiliate link instead of direct linking.

    Eight ways that you can promote this… if you’re creative, there are plenty more. You can use any of the content from the sales page, including the header / eCover / order button.

    Feel free to let me know if you need any help via instant messenger or ask in the comments. If you’re good at affiliate marketing, you may want to help people out below :razz:

    Payments will be made every couple of weeks, quicker if you do 10+ sales. Good luck!

  • How To Send Your Subscriber Count Through The Roof

    Posted on November 22nd, 2008 Jason 36 comments

    Those that have read this blog for more than a couple of months will remember the password post frenzy I whipped up on here a couple of months ago… the strategy added around 300+ subscribers in less than a week for probably the least amount of work I’ve ever had to do on this blog. Since then, a few have replicated this and seen various levels of success… but I thought I’d put out a short guide with the details for all those that haven’t done it yet.

    Here’s what you need to create a post that will spread virally, and entice people to do things that will benefit your blog – be it increase links, subscribers and ultimately exposure.

    Have something to promote.

    I had a technique that I had been using myself, so know it was successful, to make myself a steady, guaranteed income without doing any work whatsoever once it was setup. The method still works but it’s harder to do now because of networks tightening down – however, at the time it was solid.

    I had made around $7,500 in two months using this, and had not personally seen it discussed on any other blog. Two immediate things that would almost guarantee people wanting to hear about it (just for info, the method was about CPM arbitrage). I knew that this information was worth a lot of money to anyone that used it, and could have packaged it up and sold it… but at the time I was disillusioned with IM-related products so decided to do the next best thing.

    Have a reputation.

    If you do something like this on a brand new blog when no one’s heard of you before, it’s unlikely it’s going to work out at all (unless you do the next part well). People need to know who you are, whether you’ve achieved anything, how worthy your word actually is.

    On this blog, people had about a 100 of past posts to gauge what I was capable of and whether the upcoming information would be any good… most decided it was worth the free risk.

    Build Hype.

    Hype makes the world go ’round. Well it doesn’t, but it’s largely important for almost ANY kind of marketing you do. Don’t go overboard, but remember that since your post is password protected, people have no way to gauge what’s in it unless you notify them before hand. While you’re doing this, you can hype it up a little bit. Read my hype post here. Almost 200 comments in a few days which is not bad at all.

    Make it easy.

    It really depends what you want, and what you’re offering. If you ARE offering high quality, don’t be afraid to make your readers do a little work… remember, you are giving them something at no monetary cost whatsoever. However, don’t make them do too much work as you’ll find that most people simply can’t be arsed. :)

    In this case, I gave people a choice – refer three people to subscribe (can you see how that would spread?), write a review on your blog (more reviews = more exposure, again more chance of it spreading) or build links to this blog. I eventually cut down on the link building thing after being warned that it could be bad for SEO, but anyways – all three options benefited me and people could choose on which one they thought was easiest for them. It’s always good to give people a choice. :razz:

    Promote

    It was my first time doing this kind of thing, so I kind of just wrote up the post and let it sit there… I didn’t do any promotion on it and sat on my backside (it promoted itself fairly well though!). If I were to do it again, I’d promote on forums, other blogs etc, make sure that I got it in front of many eyeballs as possible. Don’t make my mistake. ;)

    Deliver!

    Once you’ve got people waiting, it’s only fair that you deliver. It doesn’t matter if only one person signed up and followed through, you should try and deliver as best as you can. If what you promised is indeed quality, you’ll have people recommending your blog even after the hype is over.

    Last but not least, don’t do this too often. Once a week will probably grow your blog quick for a month or two, but unless you keep up sensational quality people are going to get tired and stop listening to you (or worse, to stick your post somewhere you don’t want it to go… :razz: ). This can be worked for any niche – you can see a lesser done example of this with the popups on numerous blogs asking for your email in exchange for a product.

    As mentioned at the beginning of this post, my results were around 300 more subscribers than I would have had otherwise, in less than a week. That’s quite a chunk of my RSS count, and the best thing is that once you have people subscribe as long as you don’t piss them off most of them will stay subscribed.

    This idea is only limited by your creativity. Feel free to test, tweak it and let me know how it goes! :)
