You know… I wish I’d thought of this myself, but looks like I’m not innovative enough… anyways, credit for the idea goes to Sukosaki, whose idea I’ve shamelessly ripped. Hope he enjoys the link! You can read the original article here :)

1) I provide quality content for you

Providing quality content is one thing, but I provide content that is aimed at helping the reader – lots of people can write well, but as a blogger with (people you want to become) readers, you need to write quality content that is helpful for your readers and easy to understand. I do (hopefully) write quality content, but I also provide very occasional posts for you to just chill out – you get a lot of useful stuff from various other blogs too, and you need a place to chill out.

By subscribing to the RSS feed, you join the others that are privileged enough to receive my amazing blog posts ( ) through email or the RSS reader of their choice.

2) I can take critisism

If you call me an idiot, fine – I’ll listen, and then ignore you (or have a laugh) – if you call me an idiot and explain why, I’ll take your advice on board – explaining why I disagree with it if I do, or using it in some way to improve – be it this website, online activities or anything else. Whereas other bigger bloggers may not care one bit about your comments, I’ll use them, even if it doesn’t appear so sometimes. That’s why, if you feel that no1 in this list is a load of balls – just let me know. :)

3) I’m approachable

Again, this is something that the bigger bloggers are guilty of – when you need help, you can’t reach them (for extended help). Me on the other hand, if you ask me a question (I prefer instant messenger) I will try and answer it to the best of my ability – or if it’s a pressing one, maybe even write a whole blog post about it. Sure, that blog post will most likely send you to sleep, but at least it will somewhat answer the question you had to the best of my ability. :)

Note, be polite when you’re asking, and make sure it’s relevant – although I’d love to help you choose what shoes you should wear to lunch tomorrow, I probably won’t be much use in doing so

4) You can win money if you do

As the banner at the top of the page says, you can win money… just for clicking a couple buttons. At the moment, I’m having a contest, in order to boost subscribers (we all know how important that is for looking at a blog’s popularity :) ) – take a look at the rules, they’re pretty simple.

I know the last three reasons for subscribing have vanished after you read this one, but ah well  . Seriously though, depending on how well this contest goes, I’ll be having many more – so subscribe! :)

5) You’ll become a better person

Just think – you can tell all your friends that you’re subscribed to my feed! You’ll instantly become the cool kid at school (or university, and the cool guy/chick at work) and people will be running to not just get your autograph, but also become your friends, offer you whatever you need to do so and you’ll probably see a couple thousand marriage proposals coming in shortly.

It’ll increase your self confidence, raise your standing in the eyes of family and friends and eventually make you a virtual celebrity – you’ll have something to put on your CV that will outshine everything else.

You know what to do :)
