Get Your Free Web Hosting Here :)
Posted on September 28th, 2008 45 commentsAlthough I’ve procrastinated a little, I finally bought another reseller account at Hostgator… you guys can use it free of charge.
Here’s the deal – one blog per person (this may be changed later, depending on how many people want it), Wordpress blogs only, you buy your own domain. You’ll get 1GB space and 5GB bandwidth, which should be enough… if your blog grows, you buy ‘proper’ hosting.
The hosting you’ll be getting is the same level at which this blog is hosted on, so this isn’t shoddy free hosting. There will be no ads, so you’ll basically be able to experience the webmaster experience completely.
I’d prefer you contact me via instant messenger if you want this – I tend to forget to reply to emails as I get too many. Here’s the details:
MSN: JPereira.Owns[at]gmail.com
Yahoo: jasonpereira34
You will need your domain ready to go before you avail of the free hosting. Here’s the nameservers:
ns683.websitewelcome.com
ns684.websitewelcome.comIf you have any questions / suggestions etc, feel free to comment on this. I’ll email the JV person for DaBlogger tomorrow morning, just too tired at the moment… laters, guys.
If you enjoyed this post, make sure you subscribe to my RSS feed!

It’s a great offer for newbies. The question is how the bloggers will use this opportunity. If they use it to flip a blog, they can make enough money by flipping that they’ll have the money for their own hosting.

Thank you so MUCH for all your help Jason, you really are one of the most patient, kind persons I know on the net. I realize I had to bother about everything more than once and I was a pain in the (_!_) <<–butt so I promise not to make a mess of things again.

I’m glad about this find because I was looking for somewhere to host my blog where I didn’t have to pay alot. I had a blog with blogger (blogspot) and it was penalized from google for no reason. But I think that it is better to have your own domain.

@ New Technology Releases (above)
Try googling “sandboxed by google” and see what you find. I’m looking for a link to the whole Google Sandboxing thing but I’ve got so many saved for my new blog development I’m having trouble finding the bookmark I want. Will post asap.Sorry about your Google problem.
And I do believe your are correct that having your own domain is the best way to go. Good luck with all.
