Alright, I’m tried of running after people; anyways, most prizes still haven’t been claimed, so I’m offering a quick – ish way to get rid of them – the first person to post in the prize thread a couple below gets the prize they want. Are there any rules? Just two – I want to see carnal madness, so won’t restrict you guys too much. The first rule is that one person can only claim one prize; if there are some left at the end, I’ll do a redraw or distribute to those who have already posted. The second rule is that the two big prizes – a custom made eBook package done by yours truly and an advertising spot for one month on John Cow are not included in the carnage – I’ll do a separate draw for those in the next few days. Get in quick; here’s the post. As for the prizes – if you have me on instant messenger, contact me there as it’s easier – I’ll still send out emails to all those that don’t/can’t be arsed to.

The WordPress Theme Splurge

Alright, I’ll admit that I’ve gone a bit mad – I’ve spent around $500 today and will be spending a couple hundred more tomorrow. On what, you ask? Well, I’ve bought around 10 WordPress themes in the last week – you can see all of them at the new subdomain; feel free to use any of them as you like (I get the backlinks  ). I like the Flying Dollars one the best; it’s excellent for a Make Money Online blog which is the common startup blog for a lot of new bloggers around at the moment – some of the others are pretty decent too. I’m getting four more custom made ones tomorrow, which again will go up; thanks to a lovely plugin made by a friend, it’s a lot easier to showcase them (and you can buy this plugin at $14.99 from this Digital Point thread). A lot of money to spend in one go but I do feel it will pay out long term, which is what I hope to be in this for – we’ll see how it goes.

Alright, I’m not totally mad, so I didn’t spend everything on WordPress themes – I’m also getting a Facebook Application custom made; a lot of people have had success spamming marketing on Myspace and Facebook, and I’d like to give it a go. It isn’t cheap by any means, but it’s a pretty cool idea, to get into the whole social network marketing thing – the idea I had for an application is a ‘Top Five Websites You Like’ – nothing revolutionary, but it doesn’t exist at the moment and it’s often the simple things that are the easiest to use. We’ll see how that goes. Another thing I bought was full rights to an adult dating eBook that teaches you how to earn by promoting fling – I have no experience in that area but I don’t really care about the earnings from the method, just from the flip – if you want to buy a copy, you can get it straight off the Promote Fling website. Automated delivery into your Paypal account – anyways, if anyone is interested in buying full rights, you can have them for $150.00; I seriously don’t have the time to promote it much. Personally, I was thrown in four themes along with the eBook and those were what I was really after :)

Donation Button

A few (and by a few, I mean a couple) people have asked me to put up a donation button – heck, I’d love to be paid for blogging but would rather earn in a legit way like selling stuff or push affiliate stuff of use rather than having a tip jar for donations. What do you guys think? In the future, I might have something like that up, but if you guys want to donate, feel free to buy my eBook off www.lazy-riches.com ; at least you’ll be getting something useful :) .

Entrecard

A small update – Entrecard has brought me around 120~ users in the time it’s been up; I’m fine with that as it’s pretty cool. I’m saving up the credits for now – want to see how much traffic an advert on John Chow Dot Com will get me – I’m halfway there.

Another good thing about Entrecard is that it allows you to find blogs that you’d never known about – today I stumbled across BlogComics.net who admittedly have some funny stuff. Some of it is slightly against the PC-brigade, but I found it amusing; take a look at one of their examples:

Out-of-Place Advertisement

Take a look at their site – they have a few more decent ones.

On the theme header redesign – a friend did a phenomenal sketch yesterday which I’ve given the designer to ‘cartoonize’ – it looks pretty damn nice though; take a look below.

The person who did it was Ava from waxingpoetic75.com – anyways, head on over and say thanks from me

That’s all for today – I did meet a total idiot on Digital Point today, too pissed off to talk about it – will let you know more about the c*nt tomorrow. Due to his idiocies, I left a hole in the wall and received a negative iTrader from him – argh!
