It’s been so long I’ve almost forgotten how to start a blog post. I just about remember, though. :)

Some of you will remember me as the person who created this blog in October 2007. I recently was informed that Stanley was looking to sell this blog (again) since he had university issues and I thought… why not have a go.

Although I’ve been away from blogging seriously for a while now, and been involved with a tonne of other stuff (a long vacation being one of them, along with offline marketing, seminars and moving to India to start my own company – more on that later) I’ve always felt selling this site for the amount I did was a mistake. And now that mistake has a chance to be rectified.

Firstly, the main thing which I’m sure anyone that reads this post is interested in – price. I paid just over $3,000 USD for this blog, which is the same price I sold it for. Some of you may feel that was a huge waste of money, others may feel it was a bargain. In my point of view when I sold it around April 2009, it had similar statistics to this one – traffic has slightly increased, comments on posts etc are pretty much the same, and although earnings were next to nothing, the subscriber count has roughly doubled… for me, that’s a reasonable deal.

Kind of like having someone else who’s experienced maintain your blog for almost a year at no cost.

Anyways, let me know whether you think the decision to buy the blog was a good one below…

Was My Purchase of TUK A Good Decision?

I think I was the only person interested in the price of $3k, so that’s food for thought. But this is the site I created, and I do see the potential in it considering I probably did nothing to promote / monetize in the last 6-8 months I was running it, I think I could make it bigger than before.

I’ve merged the website I had posted on sporadically with a partner (Make Money Dynamo) to this one, so if you’re confused seeing this in your email box you now know why you are. Hope you’ll stick around :)

With the MMD subscribers added on this blog now has almost 3,000 subscribers, which is pretty sweet. I’m aiming to take that to 10,000 before the year is up.

To all the old readers of this blog that have stuck around till now, howdy and I hope all of you still remember me. To those that have found this site after that, welcome and I hope you’ll give me a chance to wow you. :)

Of course I have ideas of what I’m going to do with this blog, the type of content I’m going to put out… however I’m always open for any suggestions. You can contact me through any of the below mediums:

MSN: JPereira.Owns@gmail.com

Skype: leonetworks

Yahoo: jasonpereira34

Email: use the contact form

Phone: +919036133170

I’m still working on things in the background so there may be some screwups on here in the next few days… one of the things I’m looking at is finding a good theme designer as this theme doesn’t quite look right. I also have a few (around 20) employee interviews over the next few days for my offline company – I’ll explain about that in a post in the next few days.

I feel that blogs have so much potential as a medium, both in terms of boosting brand reputation, marketing things online, making big connections in the form of joint ventures and of course to make more money online. I think I’ll stick to what I did when I was running this blog – a mix of entrepreneurship / make money online posts, and maybe some interviews as they seem to be pretty popular on here. Again, all suggestions welcome.

Welcome to the blog whether you know me or not and I hope I can give you the type of content that’ll keep you coming back again and again. For starters, check out the report in the sidebar – It’s a product about how to make money through Warrior Special Offers, around 30 pages of solid content that explain what they are and what you need to do to start making money with them.

This really shows just how much the bottom has fallen out of the “MMO blogging” market. I had no idea you only got $3k for this blog, which is nothing really, considering the amount of effort you put into it. And now it’s got twice as many subscribers, and the guy still couldn’t get rid of it…

Incredible, and it shows that the bubble has well and truly burst on this, one of the most pathetic niches of marketing ever. That’s not to say some blogs can be successful, and I wish you every success, but let’s face it, a year ago, the “vogue” thing was to start a new MMO blog. Thank god that little phase is over.

That’s true, in fact a lot of bloggers have abandoned their blogs now after having spent days promoting them without seeing anything in return. Internet marketing/make money online blogs are great if you actually make money online and want to share tips with people, but if you expect to make money online by starting a make money online blog, think again!

    Jason,

I was sorry to see you leave and am very happy that you decided to entertain us again.

You bring many interesting processes to the blogging world and I am looking forward to more of your great ideas.

I did continue to read TUK from time to time but it was different, so great to see you at the helm.

Can’t wait to hear why you have going in India. I have a VA team there now and they do most excellent work.

    All the best.

Nothing wrong with buying a site back that you had previously sold. I did the same thing earlier this year except I bought it back for more than I sold it for. I don’t think it was a bad deal though because it had 6 months more posts on it and more backlinks than when I sold it. Same sort of thing with this site. You didn’t lose anything, you actually gained.

Well uhm, I would say a bit no. The traffic has evidently dipped down and the community has been quite become silent. And obviously I don’t see why pay for same price. But who cares? heheh, welcome back man! Excited to see TUK going again

Good to see you back Jason,

Please though, keep your promise this time and post regularly, as you promised a couple of times before you sold TUK, and a couple of times with MMD too. Else I will have to change my vote in the poll to ‘no’ ;-)

But good to see you back here. Good luck with it. I’ll stick around.

Anyway, I had stopped reading this blog except for a cursory look at blog post titles in my email. I just didn’t feel interested in either the new owner or what he had to say. Maybe you’ll have something to re-interest people like me.
