Why do you not use adsense to generate revenue from this blog? It seems like with such good traffic and readership, it would do well?

Yeah – Good for $2 earnings per day from such an traffic ;) Don’t waste your time with adsense on low traffic websites.

Now feel free to correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that TUK is a driven by social traffic, rather than search engine traffic – rending a contextual advertising service like adsense, almost useless.

darn questions just keep coming to me

Question for both of you: What are some other good business books you recommend? (you mentioned the Rich Dad/Poor Dad series, the Four Hour Work Week)

Some I’ve liked are Freakonomics, Predictably Irrational; working through Microtrends right now. Always looking for good reads :)

    @ A

I just read predictably irrational and loved it. :)

If you haven’t read Think and Grow Rich it’s a must.

Also if you liked Freakonomics you might like “blink” “tipping point” and “outliers” by Malcom Gladwell.. Not all business but interesting none the less.

When first starting out in trying to make money online do you think it’s better to start with 1 site and try and make it grow and then profit big from it or start with many small niche focused sites and make smaller profits from each one.

    Thanks,

I have a site that receives over 45000 unique’s a month. But I am not able to generate more than 300$ avg a month. I am using adsense only. Almost 40% of total visitors are from US. Can you help me in monetizing it with a decent income?
