Internet working fine now, ergo the on time post.

I’ve been slacking this month – whilst I’ve cleared a lot of my stock (sold a few domains that I had no need for as well as clearing out a few of my dead proxy sites for $150 today) I haven’t really focused on anything new. Sucks, because well – I’ve been off from university since the 7th of January, and instead of going full steam ahead into something profitable, I’ve screwed around gaming and outsourcing work to others that a lot of it I could have done myself. Simple stuff, but pretty stupid – I’ve also fallen behind due to my laziness; a proxy that was earning a stable $5 a day wiped out now because I couldn’t be bothered to (and still haven’t) moved it over to my new server.

Today, I change. I put in a bit of work today and I’m launching two websites – an image hosting site and a URL shorten site. Pretty decent domains I think – I was surprised that they were still available – and after I saw the recent sale of Pictiger.com for $135,000 on SitePoint (see what I did there? :twisted: ) I’m going to work towards getting at least a tenth of that for the end sale. Achievable? Yes, easy – no. Going to cross link the suckers and maybe throw in a pagerank checker/file upload site then try and (eventually) get big bucks for the network.

As for Entrecard – I’ve used the credits in my account to go on a purchasing spree and spent them all on advertising – what exactly can 1,200 EC Credits get you?

Let’s see how much traffic that brings. I could have got adverting on ‘bigger’ blogs but most of them were full for a week or more – I selected blogs that would be ready in a short time (between one hour to two days). I have Google Analytics installed, and EC of course have their own stats tracker, so let’s see how that goes.

I’ll also be starting a new proxy network soon – I’ve got money to play with now due to selling off the old one. Still got around 35 proxy domains, most of which I won’t use – will try and flog them on Digital Point for cheap.

Anyways, going to tweak my newbie sites a little more – more on this blog tomorrow :)

Walsho.net – Why John Chow Should Be President – would have linked to this a while back, but the twit’s site was down. Luckily he’s gotten new hosting now, although he really should have signed up for Hostgator through his own affiliate link (or mine :twisted: ). It’s a funny read.

CantGetRich.com – Sites That Shouldn’t Exist – a bit of a rant about the copycat tools in the blogosphere. You know who they are. ;) .
