Tomorrow, there will not be a post on this blog.

Just wanted to let people know that. I’ve posted daily for the last… 100 or more days straight, I think. Time for a few breaks.

I have been busy lately, with university starting and other online projects that are kicking off… also, I could probably have this blog updated daily by guest posters but then it wouldn’t really be unique, would it? Despite some of the high quality guest posts on here, people have been pissed off with them, wanting me posting or nothing.

I will still be taking guest posts, but they’ll not be going up daily, perhaps a few a month. Feel free to send them in – less posts being put up only means more exposure for you guys :)

Personally, this blog is fun to run.. however, time wise it is a drainer – not so much the posts, which only take around 30 minutes a day to write, but some of the instant messenger conversations – although most of you guys are decent, you wouldn’t believe the questions that I’ve been asked by some of the idiots that have added me over the last few weeks :)

Also, coming up with a new post idea daily – I’ve done that over the last few months, and I pride this blog on being a place where people can come and learn something useful… however, coming up with post ideas daily was starting to become a drain, and I’d rather put out nothing than put out rubbish (and I have put out some rubbish over the last few weeks), so that is what I’ll be doing from now on.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to put out longer posts when I do them, ones that will help you take your internet business to the next level. We’ll see.

What I’ll try to do is post 3-4 times weekly as opposed to daily. First on the list is some of the questions asked in the Q&A session. Also, with regards to the site flip project… I’d love to get that going, but am way overworked on time and energy at the moment… if anyone wants to help out and get themselves a chunk of exposure… let me know. What will probably happen is fewer prizes, but a month long competition nonetheless which anyone can enter… with tips and tricks to boost your end sale price posted on here over the course of a month.

I will (finally!) be fixing up the desktop I bought ages ago and will be going on a game-buying-splurge (which is what I bought it for in the first place ;) )… if you know any good ones, let me know. I’ll be getting most of the common games, but maybe a few uncommon ones… would love to play anyone here online, even though I’ll probably be shit.

Anyways, just wanted to keep you guys updated so you wouldn’t go WTF when the posting frequency decreases. I still plan to bring you quality content, and a lot less fluff… so stick around, you won’t regret it.

    It’s cool
I only do 3 posts a week myself so I don’t get burned out with doing blogging.
You have a gaing computer which is cool because I have a second computer that I use to game too. I really only play strategy and RPG because I find FPS boring

It is good that you are only doing this so you don’t burn out. Better to do 3 times/week then to aim for twice a day and have huge breaks. Be consistent bruno and keep going strong.

Sorry to hear that, I really liked the period you posted really high quality every day (during the last couple of months), but it’s quite understandable. I’ve got a hard time updating my blog myself too.

I like good content and this as you said should make the content better so I am happy about it. But I am not going to lie and say that I am not interested to see how this affects your stats. Think you might be able to put something together about how changing your schedule has affected your stats after a little bit.

    hmm best games…
World of warcraft :p aint played it in 2 years but it was fun.
Dawn of war; i play that now and again and the squeal looks great.
and Spore; just garbed that this week addictive as hell, the DRM stuff is a down for it but the game i think is worth the small hassle.

Mass effect is also another good one and you can’t go wrong with Halo series…oh and unreal tournament

I think it’s a good decision – always choose quality over quantity. A lot of pro bloggers say you have to post every day, but I think it’s better to post only when you have something useful or interesting to say, and not just for the sake of posting.

I’m glad you’ve decided not to fill your blog with guest posts – I think that would kinda defeat the purpose of having a blog in the first place. Also, when I receive emails every day from the same blog, I tend to skip them or just unsubscribe ;)

@ TUK – I must admit I am a little upset. Can’t you write a few posts a day and then timestamp them so they don’t get published until the same time every day (so they get pulished once per day)?
I think 3 times per week is way too little. I will get frustrated with your blog. Can you post 5 times per week (on weekdays) and then just don’t post on weekends when traffic is usually lower anyway?

    Hey,
It’s good to hear that your having a break. It’s very important for your health! If you’d like to check out some games, I’d recommend Counter Strike: Source. Best FPS ever created. It’s probably a bit off-topic but what are the specs of your desktop PC? Because if they’re outdated parts, you’ll have some trouble running new games. Anyway, have fun!
