Hit the nail on the head with this one. You can always make money pushing other peoples products, but you can crush it selling your own. The challenge is having something worthy of purchasing. If you are going to make an e-book, don't write a 20 page report overnight and then slap a $49 price tag on it. My e-book took forever to put together because I am really not a writer, plus I wanted it to actually be valuable to the reader. Pricing is the key too... if you do build a 20 page report, perhaps you should give it away for free for subscribing to your email. Or keep it very cheap like TUK's $1.00 idea. The pride of having your own product is great too, especially when people buy it and say thank you after using it. Actually helping people can be very rewarding.
