There are a few of you that will have been waiting for this post; anyways, here’s the winners – thanks for being members of the TUK community :)

Please email me mate with your Paypal address and I’ll send you $75.00.

I did the draw on the 29th but kept it to build suspense and so that people wouldn’t unsubscribe… there are people that subscribe just for contests, but stay tuned because another one will kick off tomorrow :)

Anyways, the winner of the other half, just for subscribing is:

Both of you guys, email me – you’ve got till the 11th to do so, at which point the prizes get sent to charity should they not be claimed :)

I’m finding affiliate marketing pretty fun… I’ve been marketing on Meebo for the last couple days and make around $50~ for about ten minutes of work. Got to find out how to scale it, but it’s boding well. I’m using Neverblue Ads for this, and I’ve already broken my record with them this month :) . If anyone wants to try it out, ping me through instant messenger ;)

I’ll also be trying direct linking soon, as well as a few other things… will update on how I do. I really want to get up the membership website, and I even have everything ready… but don’t know how to edit the pages, as they’re in PHP format and pretty damned confusing… gaah! I’ll look into that, soon heh.

For all of you that asked, I ended up finishing that assignment… when I’ve gotta work, I work. Too bad I don’t have to work much, being a university student aye :)

I wrote up half of the contest post – writing short reviews, even just one or two lines for more than 50 websites is really tiring… I’m also having problems with Feed Footer (it’s not showing up, despite me activating it) so if anyone knows what’s wrong/can help, contact me for that too. The contest post will go live tomorrow, there’s quite a lot of stuff including more than $3,000 in prizes donated. All the contest blogs out there – I’m not submitting to you, so if you want to enter check this blog out tomorrow and see what’s going :)

Anyways, three tips for you guys today as this post isn’t very ‘useful’ so far. They could relate to anything, but we’ll match them to internet marketing for now:

1) Be innovative – if you have something that you could do fairly well with but thousands of people are doing it, or if you have something you think you could do fairly well with and no one’s tried it yet, do the latter. It’s always the unique people that get the fame, the glory and most importantly the cash, no matter how stupid their ideas – you think Graham Langdon cared how many people didn’t like the Million Dollar Wiki when he made upwards of $100,000 with it? Similarly, those that laughed at that idiot wanting to trade in a red paper clip for a house probably don’t feel too good now. Remember, even if you try something new and fail, you’ll probably have fun… and meet lots of interesting people along the way.

2) Work at it all the way – this is something that hits me real bad – you see, I get a killer idea, purchase the domain, spend an hour setting up the website and then just fall off because I hit a rut in terms of my lack of technical prowess or simply because I got lazy. If you’re going to try something, either put all your effort into it or none of it – the $50 or so it costs to start an idea multiplied by many ideas soon builds up.

3) Relax! If you fail today, you can succeed tomorrow – even if you don’t, take a break; getting depressed isn’t going to do you any good. I’ve made quite a few failures in life, and since starting my internet marketing career have made even more, sometimes utterly stupid ones; if you can learn how to sit back, sip *insert your favourite drink here* and laugh at your own mistakes, you won’t have many problems in future. :)

That’s all for now guys, way tired out from trying most of that contest post ;)

The contest ends tomorrow, and I’m looking for one last push – get your friends, family, neighbour, his/her dog, even that boss that you hate at work – make them subscribe to my feed, and they’ll be so busy reading the blog they won’t have the time to annoy you anymore. Seriously though, if you haven’t, please do – my feed by an rss reader or by email
